Equipment Hire Terms

1. Who you hire from

The hirer is you (the person or company named on the booking). The owner is Premier Restorations Group Pty Ltd (ABN as advised on the quote), trading as Floor Tool Hire and Premrest (“we”, “us”). Contact us via the contact form, Melbourne metro.

2. Booking request vs confirmed hire

The online booking sends one request to our hire desk. It does not take payment, lock a serial-numbered machine, or start the hire. Hire starts only when we confirm availability and you accept the quote (by email or written acceptance).

3. Rates and GST

Published rates are indicative ex GST Melbourne figures from our current hire card. GST is added on the invoice. Melbourne metro delivery is $200 ex GST and covers both drop-off and pickup unless quoted otherwise. It is not $200 each way. Consumables are extra.

4. Hire period

Hire days are inclusive calendar days from the start date to the end date you book. A full 7 inclusive days is charged at the week rate; leftover days at the day rate. We quote the lower of that mix or the next full week. A Sat–Sun only hire may use the weekend rate where the card has one (National 5700 weekend $550).

5. Bond / security deposit

Typical card bonds (ex GST, indicative): National 5700 $3,500; Husqvarna PG450 $2,000; Husqvarna S26 $750; PG450 + S26 $2,500; air mover $400; dehumidifier $1,000; flood kit $1,800; Polivac C27RS $750; Tomcat EdgeStick $2,000. The bond amount is confirmed with your quote.

6. Damage waiver

A damage waiver of 10% of the hire charges is compulsory unless you give us a current certificate of currency (COC) we accept in writing.

7. Operator competence, PPE and the site

This is dry hire. You supply a competent operator. Do not use plant if it is damaged — stop and send a message. You must not let an untrained person operate hire plant from this fleet.

8. Damage, wear and consumables

Fair wear from proper use is ours. Damage from misuse is yours. Consumables are extra: scraper blades, diamonds, Longopac bags, pads, filters if destroyed.

9. Delivery, collection, access and power

Melbourne metro delivery is $200 ex GST and covers both drop-off and pickup. You must give safe, legal site access and someone to meet the truck. Waiting time, failed access, or a second attempt may be charged.

10. GPS / tracking

Plant may be fitted with GPS or similar tracking for fleet security. Tampering is prohibited.

11. Insurance

While plant is on hire it is at your risk unless we agree otherwise in writing. You must insure the plant or buy our damage waiver where offered.

12. Cancellation and no-show

Cancel a request any time before we confirm — no charge. A confirmed hire cancelled inside one clear business day, or a no-show at delivery, may be charged a reasonable call-out or the first day’s hire plus any delivery already run.

13. Liability

We supply maintained hire plant. Our liability for a hire is limited to the hire charges for that booking, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any right you cannot contract out of under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. Privacy of the form

The booking form and the contact form each post once, on submit, to Formspree form xljepdpz. Do not put card numbers in the notes field.

15. Acceptance

Submitting a booking request, accepting a quote, taking delivery, or collecting plant is acceptance of these Equipment Hire Terms.
